Growing up and facing going back to school after Christmas break.

how did you who grew up as witnesses face the questions of "what did you get for christmas" when you went back to school after the break?

i found it to be very stressful as a child trying to explain why i did'nt get anything.

sometimes i even made up fake gifts just to make myself not look so different.

Crapola, Yes I live in OK. and have season tickets to OU home games. The Texas Tech game was electric. You could almost touch the excitement. I haven't felt that since 2000, when we played Nebraska. This is our year, just like 2000 was. BOOMER SOONER!!!

My daughter got her first set of nails, 4 years ago with her Christmas money. She paid for the first set. I was under the impression that they grew out, and you kept clipping them off. HA HA HA!!!!

Boy was I wrong. You have to go every 2 weeks to get them taken care of. $20-25.00 every 2 weeks. They bring her such joy. No joy for me however. Nails can wait. As already said, they grow up too fast already.

While on vacation in Albuquerque NM, We bought one of these horses for a 17 year old friend of my daughters. She was crazy about it. She had heard of them, but never had one. She has a huge collection of the Breyers (?) horses.

They are painted ponies, here is a website I found. It took forever for us to pick one. They are beautiful, and very special. The painting on both sides are spectacular.

I remember listening to what the other kids got. 6th grade is what I remember most. I even hated being a JW back then. Why, oh Why did I get baptised?
